Over & over again?

Recently I was at the supermart and I picked up some clingfilm ( you know, those that one use to cover leftovers before stuffing them into the fridge ) Then, to make things exciting for myself, I thought of getting a different brand from what I normally use. ( but of course I do not really remember what I normally use ) So I picked one which looked most exciting, packaging and economy-wise.

I come home, unpack the groceries and discovered that the 'different' clingfilm which I bought to spice up my life, is THE SAME AS THE ONE AT HOME! So much for variety.

Actually, this is not the 1st time something like that has happened. I have bought the same books. Some a few times. I know, I know, I think I may be a bit like that fella in Memento. After the ClingFilm incident, it got me thinking........

If I had a chance to live my life all over again, will I make the same decisions? Will I still be a ballet teacher? Will I marry the same man? Will I follow the same path? Will I buy the same clingfilm? The answer is most probably...............

Actually, I often wonder the same thing.
What would be ideal, would be to be in the same position to make the choices, but keep the wisdom (?) I have gained over the years.
A kind of 'foresight'
It makes you understand, or at least sympathisew with those who choose to frequent fortune-telling establishments! NOT that I would condone or encourage that at all you understand.
So - what was the answer - would you choose the same?
