It's a Sin to tell a Lie

Be sure it's true when you say I love you
It's a sin to tell a lie
Millions of hearts have been broken
Just because these words were spoken

I love you, yes I do, I love you
If you break my heart I'll die
So be sure it's true
When you say I love you
It's a sin to tell a lie

This song was stuck in my brain the whole day today. My favourite singing audience these days is Wookie. He'll look at me with his head tilted to one side and then the other, probably thinking, 'Mummy's gone barmy again'

If you don't know it, it's ok. It's very old, therefore, it reflects on my age. And if you want to know how it goes, ask me some time.

mmmmm, john denver, eh? I missed that by a whole long mile.... I think I have almost totally forgotten about his songs, except Rocky Mountain Hill(?). I can still remember his round 'Gandhi' style glasses and his unique 'huh huh huh' laughter. ......west virginia, blue ridge mountain.... thanks for the tip-off, alison.
