Wookie went a-visiting

On Tuesday, Ju suggested I bring Wookie over to his place for a visit. So I fed him, bathed him, hairdried him and he's all ready to go 'gai-gai'.

When we got there, he  sniffed  and explored around. But every minute or so, he comes back to me, give me a few licks, sort of making sure I am still there (so cute). But the fun began when Kirsten tried to figure out how come this soft toy can move on its own. Ju made some short video clips of the meeting. Please make sure you check them out.

Ang was there also. Needless to say, my baby simply won everyone he comes in contact with. He also gave me some useful tips on puppy training.

Wookie now knows some simple instructions.  He knows how to sit when told, but of course most of the time he's too excited to remain sitting. For the past few days, we have been having stupendous  fun playing 'fetch'  The fur on his paws have grown quite long and when he runs, he sort of run, slip, slide along. I know, I know, should trim. Well, I am the wrong person to do so. When my kids were younger, I don't even trim their nails. The baby-sitter or maid or my mum does it for them. I have always been afraid of trimming children's nails. Wookie IS a baby, so no way!

There seemed to be some light at the end of the tunnel where toilet-training is concerned. He is peeing at the right spot most of the time and the poo bit is also getting better. I know, I know, patience.

Yawwwnnnnn.....jpgThis is Wookie emulating a lion's yawn. Shitzu or Shih Tzu's supposed to mean little lion.

But my 'little lion' is really a puppy who loves to be pampered. Our lives have truly been changed -  to his schedule, making sure we are home to feed him on time and so on.........................................

I seriously doubt it but then again, anything is possible. My guess is, whereever they are meeting, God help that place. They'll probably tear it down by their 'playing catch'
