The oil splattered on my arm

We had fried fish for dinner tonight.
The oil splattered on my arm while I was frying.
Hurt like MAD!
Hurt more while showering.
So there I was, under the shower thinking of a certain trip to Singapore many, many years ago when I was younger, we went to Har Par Villa. The Haw Par Villa is home to hundreds of statues and figurines of the characters in Chinese mythology and legends. There is this section of very graphic figurines depicting what happens to people who commits certain sins. One showed people being boiled in oil. That trip made quite an impact on my young life. After that, we were always threatened by my aunt, if we do this or if we don't do that, we will a) get our tongues torn out, b) grilled, c) boiled in oil, d) have our hands and legs chopped off, and so on and so forth...... It's no wonder we grew up normal ( though I think some of you might beg to differ that I AM normal ) I am very glad now that Jesus has delivered me from all these things.

With the sound of water gushing, thinking I only got splattered in three spots with oil and it hurts, what of being boiled in it? I also thought about a particular scene in the movie BraveHeart which I watched again a few days ago. In that scene, the Scottish rebels were charging a castle. From up on top, boiling tar were poured on them. How that MUST HURT.

It does not hurt so much now. But I'll bet it'll leave a scar. *sigh* there goes my lily-white smooth as a baby's butt skin.

Let Wookie lick your wounds, then the scars should disappear! If not also, I'm sure it'll feel better

Rough-play Wookie? Doubt it. Will do more harm.He will chew me. I looked at it closely, it's 6 spots not 3, big and small. The biggest has this lovely oval shaped blister which looks so tempting to burst.
Nolar, this one not drama lah. Just a little accident.

Wrap any burns in cling film immediately. It looks and feels stupid, but I promise, it will heal quicker and there will be no scarring. This goes for any minor burns :-)
(I have played Cook at the local seconday schoo)

It was only too late before I realised I was 'well-done'. I sported a humongeous blister on the largest spot for 2 days but accidently burst it this afternoon and the pain began *sigh* I know, I know, I am such a baby
