Oops! I did it again!

That does sound like whatshername, right? Britney Spears, that's her name.

What I am talking about are those marathon weekend classes that seemed to get longer and longer. Last Sunday I did 10 hours! Julie, before you fly off the handle and think of all those nasty things you intend to mail to me, you have to know it was only for last Sunday.

Some of the girls were going for their examinations the next day. The last class before that was on Thursday and so they wanted one to recap. The day began in the morning with Advanced class at 10.30. I went on till 7.00, took an hour's break to have dinner. Then it was back to the last class.

That dinner hour recharged me and if need be, I could have gone on for another few hours but that will be pushing it, I think. What got me through the day was that little bottle of ginseng. Andrew bought a pack of these little ginseng essence ( I actually thought they were chicken essence) quite a while back. He has lamented that I don't drink them. I guess I was saving them for special occasions. What sort of special occasions, I don't know.

I took a bottle at about 1pm and it took me through the day. It came in a styrofoam box with the 6 bottles all nicely lined up. I thought it looked like bombs filled with nitroglycerine, quite cool looking. There are 5 bottles left. That will last me a few more weeks. I shan't need it this week because I will be going for Stomp! That thought will be enough to charge me up.

Eventhough the hours are long, truth of the matter is, I enjoy teaching the classes. If you ask me to choose which class to give up, I can honestly say, I don't know. I just cannot decide. But when the time comes and perhaps I shall have to turn some classes over to the other teachers, it'll be an administrative decision based purely on logistics. Just how can one choose? To give up the Grade 8 class? All those lovely dances? Perhaps the little Pre-Primaries? But they are so adorable and to watch their progress week after week is so exciting. No, I can't choose.

Ginseng essence, eh?

Isn't it supposed to have some kind of aphrodisiacal properties, like a traditional Viagra of sorts?

So did it work?! :D

Maybe it works like Viagra for men but for ballet teachers, I think it makes them go, go, GO
