PTS - coming to an end

I am now supposed to be doing reports, review the files, prepare for yet another 2 more Assessments this week BUT I guess I rather blog. Can't write anything.

It's been 10 months since I began my PTS journey. It's coming to an end. Last week was madness, I had to make 6 Assessments in 3 days! After a while, the brain just dried up. I mean, I do not have journalistic skills. I get by with so-so command of the English Language. I want to write up stupendous reports with bombastic words and beautiful 'flowery' paragraphs but after a few reports in a row, I just can't find new ways to say "So-and-so dressed well for the occasion", let alone bombastic. How do people do it? How do they write something that must sound nice but not syrupy, objective but not overly lenient, fair and honest?

However, despite the hard work and dry brain, I AM enjoying the challenge. Yup, I have been stretched further since the beginning of the year. I enjoy watching those students improve with every visit. I even enjoy trying to write stupendous reports. In fact, I enjoy it so much I have asked to do it again next year.

Maybe I might even apply to be an examiner. Now THAT would be scary. But first, I must live through this week. Announcement : Katy's available for dates after this week.
