God took action

The past few weeks have been difficult. I have been plagued with one hell of a cough, no exaggeration. So I went to the doctor. Prescribed cough medication. Take medications, felt drowsy and non-functional. I could be taking Benadryl at 11pm the night before and still be drowsy the next afternoon! Don't take medication, cough my lungs out. In the end, made up my mind NOT to take. Which means I have to occasionally look out to see if I have to pick bits of my lung up.

Coughing really hurt my back. Ahh, betcha didn't know one uses those back muscles to cough, but there you are. And of course with Christmas rehearsals which requires demonstrations from me. That did not help at all.  After all, the choreography is in my brain. How else is anybody going to do it if I don't reproduce it physically? We are not quite the 'Matrix technology' yet. If not, people will just have to plug into my brain and be able to do it. *sigh* That would be cool!

In fact, perhaps I oughta just try to forget the past few weeks. I was sort of passing between only 2 modes; semi-comatose after-effect from meds and coughing with eyeballs popping out, lungs on the floor and back in spasms. Just totally depressing to a point of being teary occasionally and that irritates me. Hence, for people whom have had to live with that and encounter alter-ME , I beg your pardon.

All those, I hope is the thing of the past now. Why? God took action.

Time: Saturday night, I think

Place: Heaven

Characters: God and His angels

God: We have to do something about her. She can't go on like that.

Angel: But my Lord, you know what she's like. She won't stop. Even sick, she goes on and on. She won't even take her meds because she wants to function.

God: Then we will have to take drastic actions.

Angels: Like?

God: Remember years ago, when she suffered that very bad gastric attack? They had to literally carry her to the clinic?

Angels: But that was VERY painful for her. Surely you do not want her to suffer that badly?

God: No. I'll just give her enough to incapacitate her. Then I will give her sleep. When she has a good whole day of sleep, she will be alright.

Angels: Very well. It will also teach her a lesson not to arrange for a PTS visit right after a full day of teaching and no meals.

God: Proceed.

Yup! God incapacitated me. I woke up yesterday morning feeling lousy. I went to the toilet 3 times before setting out for breakfast and then service. When we got to the coffeeshop, I could not eat. "Take me home, please. I need to go to the toilet again"

"Why? Still not feeling good ah? What about service?", Andrew asked.

"You guys go ahead. By the time you wait for me, it'll be very late"

I went home, went to toilet, went to bed and slept. And slept, AND SLEPT! (with intervals to the toilet) It was as if I had taken a sleeping draught but without the drowsy feeling. I slept for a full day, woke up in the evening for dinner (which I could not eat) and then went for rehearsal.

Result : My severe back pain is gone. I may have coughed for a grand total of 3 times only today.

We pray for things to happen but it does not always happen the way we want it to.

My Beloved Father in Heaven, Thank You!

I got hit last week with fever and flu before combined...couldn't get up from bed much less get on the bike and ride for an hour to church.
It's tough being sick. Thank God He took drastic measures with you :P Thank God that you're mostly healed too :D
btw, did you make the God and Angels scene up or did you really see it? Is this what you mean by being sensitive?
Hope I'm not the only one seeing these imaginations/visions...

Sounds like 'sick' season. Nolar, I only just suspected the God and Angel scene. But I think it just about sums it up, right?
