Wookie/Tubi..................Wookie in the garden!

Yesterday, we took Wookie for grooming. When we went back to collect him, he was not ready. So I browsed around, bought his food, treats, made faces at the other puppies on sale in the shop.

Then the guy (wookie's favourite pee target) carried him out from the back and placed him in a cage. Andrew walked over, " Why did he put him in there?" Most of the time, he just hands him over to us. "Perhaps he saw me browsing at stuff leh"

I walked over to the cage, the dog in the cage jumped and pranced. We looked closely. Is it him?? Nope, we concluded. Although he looks a lot like Wookie, behaves a lot like Wookie but his fur was cut a little different.

Then when Wookie finally came out, the 'pee target' handed him over to Andrew.  There was another man paying for some stuff. He looked at Wookie intently and asked, "Is that my Tubi?" LOL! He made a mistake too.

Tubi was presently brought out to his owner and both he and Wookie made acquaintance. When they were both next to each other, we could see the difference immediately. We thought they may be related but according to the shop, Tubi was born in KL and Wookie from Perak. Mmmmmmmmmmm, Wookie is from out of town.

The freaky thing was, when we walked out of the shop, Tubi and his owner got into a Hyundai Matrix, the very same blue colour as mine!

Today, Wookie WENT OUT ON THE PORCH! I had just finished hanging out the laundry, walked to the back of the house to lock up. When I came back, I did not see him anywhere. "Wookie, Wookie" Fear crept into my heart. 'Oh no! someone pooch-napped him!'

I rushed out to check if the gate is locked and I saw him with a mouthful of dried leaves standing guiltily in front of Andrew's pond! Scooped him up, carried him into the house and gave him a whacking! Then he did it AGAIN! I came home from the market, and in the midst of taking the stuff in, he slipped out. Of course, another round of Whacking!

I was trying to figure out why he did it and came to the conclusion somebody or rather, some pooch may have told him at the groomer. Imagine this scene, it must have been something like ladies in hair salons;

"Woof! Woof!" (Hi, what's your name)

"Woof!" ( Wookie)

"Woof! Woof! Woof!" (Where are you from? Do you have a big garden to run around?)

"Woof?" (Er, garden?)

"Woof! Woof! Woof! Woof! (Ya, you know the place just outside your house. It's a great place. Plenty of fun)

Hence, Wookie's little brain must have thought, "Hmmmmmmmm, I must try it"

Well, not if Mummy has any say in it! Why I do not want him outside? He has had some much skin problems when he was younger, I want to minimise chances of it ever recurring. Being outside will just mean, higher chances of infection.
