"Hey, I admire you"

A few weeks ago, I was at Sunny's apartment for a meeting. After I left the apartment, I rang him.

"Hey, do you know you've got a very good-looking guard at your apartment building?"

"Is it? I better walk out and check it out. Which one?"

"He's very fair. Quite big size. He does not look Malaysian"

"No, they are not. They are Nepalese."

"You mean, like the Gurkhas?"

Ever since, Sunny had been teasing me about it. He called me again to tell me that 'my guard' is on duty tonight. "You are a married woman."

Yes, I am but it does not mean that I am blind. I admire good-looking men as I would any beautiful woman or the wonderful KL skyline or a beautiful animal. There is so much beauty among us. Why should we always look for the hideous?  When we open the newspapers, there's always reports of all sorts of ugly incidents. What happen to beauty? Open any magazines and you will find beauty hidden under the shroud of sex.

Why can't I walk up to any guy and say, "Hey, I admire you", without any serious repercussions? Why must there always be a hidden agenda? I thank God that my husband  knows that when I say somebody is good-looking it does not mean I am about to jump into bed with him.

You can. Just make sure the girlfriend/wife isn't standing there right next to the fler... sure way to start a catfight.

I totally agree! Why can't I just go up to a person and say that I admire you or you're good looking without them taking it wrongly?! *laughs* then again, I might not have the GUTS to do it! HAHA
