So which floor are you going?
Thursday, November 27, 2008 at 10:25AM On Monday Ali and I were at my mum's helping her pack to move next month. My mum lives on the 4th floor of a block of flats. While we were waiting for the lift, a pair of dogs were also waiting for it. When the lift came, we got in, and I asked the dogs if they were coming. The bigger male, a black dog walked in and make an about turn to face the lift door, just like what we humans will do. I continued to hold the door, waiting for the white female. The black dog had the 'Hey Woman! come on, we're not going to wait forever" look on his face. But the white female was just too shy. Perhaps she is just careful, not getting into lifts with strangers.
"So which floor are you going? I'll press for you", I asked the dog. But he ignored me.
"I think he wants the 2nd floor" Ali told me.
So I pressed for the 2nd floor. When we got there, the lift door opened and he nonchalantly walked out.
