How does your garden grow?

When I was living in my old house, I had absolutely no space for gardening. The little space called 'garden' was about the size of a pocket hankerchief. One of the primary reason for the move was to have more garden space.

I have been tending to the new garden for about 3 months now. It is coming along just fine. I have a little 'Herb Area' at the back.  In addition to the rosemary, thyme, basil (both Thai and sweet), I also have Cat's Whiskers, curry plant, the must have Pandan (Screwpine). We also got hold of a tiny Tongkat Ali. Last year, when I was in Melbourne, I brought home some lavender seedlings but I 'drowned' them all so Villie so kindly grew a tiny plant for me. I hope it'll live.  it's so scrawny :(

I also planted some 4-angled beans. I expect it'll be some time before I can harvest.

A few weeks ago, I came across an unusual hybrid rose. This particular species entwines and rambles, with tiny little red roses. I bought 2 pots and hope they'll creep all over the fencing.

Andrew, of course, has his koi pond ( work in progress)

Sunflowers are always one of my favourites. They are so 'happy'. Therefore, I absolutely NEED them in my garden.

Perhaps in a few weeks' time, i shall more to put up.

Ooh.. four angled beans. Mom grew them once and it was abundance! Enough to share with friends and neighbours. Hang on.. maybe we know we can't have them three times a day, everyday... >.<
