Nikki Coco Cheong

Meet Nikki Coco Cheong, born 22 March 2011, which makes her a week shy of 2 months old.

NikkiWhat we noticed about her is, she's rather camera shy. She prefers to turn away from the camera. No matter, I shall endeavour to turn her into a diva. My sister and my nephew, Jason came along with us to collect her from the breeder. After payment was made and further instructions were given, we took her to the vet for a cursory checkup and she was given a clean bill of health.

When I got her home, I discovered that she's not as girly girl as we thought. She proceeded to play, and play, AND play, running around, following me back and forth, jumping up and down. She was adventurous, the 'no mountain too high, no sea too deep' kind. But right at this moment, Missy Christopher Columbus is taking a breather on my lap.

A Lap Dog?When she came into her new home, there was no,' this is a new place, I am scared.' etc about her. She felt at home. I could not believe how easy it was to bond with her. She stuck to me like I am her new BFF.

When we met the breeder the 1st time, the 1st question he asked me was, "Are you looking for a replacement?" Indeed we are not. No 2 dogs are the same. Nikki is definitely very different from Wookie.

We named her Nikki Coco because we could not decided if she's a Nikki or a Coco but today it's been confirmed. She's a Nikki. Don't ask me what's a Nikki and what's a Coco. Nikki, somehow, just seemed right for her.

As we begin out journey together, I know there will be so many surprises along the way. We will discover one another, she will have a happy, comfortable and great home to grow up in.

She looks pretty gorgeous; 22-3-11, gotta remember that :p

So I take it she doesn't have a fear of heights like Wookie?

Initial observations, no, I don't think she has the fear of heights. This one very 'samseng'.
Mel: You are always welcome
